Hyundai Grand i10 is the second generation i10 which was launched in India on 3rd September,2013. Although it was the second generation i10 but Hyundai named it as “Grand i10” . Beside the tradition the 1st generation i10 was continued along with the second generation by the automaker. Grand i10 is the entry level diesel model offered by the Korean manufacture. The design of the car is based on the companies Fluidic Design concept. The car was designed in India and exported to European Market.
Grand i10 was one of the companies biggest success in India. It won the countries highest automobile award in the most competitive and rapid growing “Hatchback” segment . Senior Editors of prominent automobile publications of the country awarded the car with “Indian Car Of The Year” award in 2014.

The Grand i10 is lot bigger and offer much more cabin space than the 1st generation i10. The car has the dimensions of 3765 mm × 1660 mm × 1520 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm. For the comfort Hyundai has increased the wheelbase by 100 mm along with 256 liters of Boot space. Improvement in the aerodynamics has reduce the forward air flow resistance and increased the stability and fuel economy.

Hyundai has come up with a new 1.2 litre 2nd Gen U2 Diesel engine with more advance and improved technology. The 2nd generation CRDi technology offers improved operating pressure, low compression ratio, light weight engine block and together ensure more power and efficiency. There is also a 1.2 litre dual VTVT petrol variant with both Auto and Manual transmission.
